Ingredients
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 cup tomato juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice, reserving squeezed limes to rim glasses
- 1/2 teaspoon Mexican hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon pico de gallo, plus more for rimming glasses
- Ice
Directions
- Add the orange juice, tomato juice, lime juice, hot sauce and pico de gallo to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Close it tightly and shake until everything is thoroughly chilled and blended.
- Run the squeezed lime around the edges of the serving glasses. Scatter a few teaspoons of pico de gallo onto a saucer, then press each glass into it so the rims pick up an even coating.
- Pour the sangrita through the shaker strainer into the prepared glasses. Serve it with shots of tequila.
