Turkey and Stuffing Meatballs
Savory turkey meatballs use boxed stuffing for seasoning and body, then get baked and butter-browned for cozy, gravy-ready comfort.

Ingredients
- 1 box stuffing mix
- 1 cup hot water
- 19 oz. ground turkey
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp butter
Directions
- Heat your oven to 400ºF. Pour the dry stuffing mix into a large bowl, add the hot water, and stir until the bottom is no longer puddly. Set it aside for 5 minutes so the pieces can soften more. You’re using less water than the package calls for, because the stuffing still needs to take in moisture from the turkey and egg.
- Drop the beaten egg and ground turkey into the softened stuffing. Use your hands to mix everything until it looks evenly combined. Shape the mixture into 20 meatballs, making them a little bigger than ping pong balls, about 3 Tbsp apiece.
- Lay parchment on a baking sheet, then arrange the meatballs on it. Bake them in the hot oven for 20 minutes.
- Set a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 Tbsp butter. Add half of the baked meatballs and cook them in the butter until most sides are browned, about 5 minutes. Move the browned meatballs to a serving dish, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in the skillet, and do the same with the rest of the meatballs.
- Serve warm over mashed potatoes, or with gravy or cranberry sauce for dipping.
