Ingredients
- 16 oz. 93% lean ground turkey, I recommend using Jennie-O
- 1 Tbsp plain dried breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt, or as desired
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 2 Tbsp light mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Directions
- Place the ground turkey in a medium mixing bowl. Scatter the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder over the top, then add the mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce. Use a gentle hand to loosen and fold the mixture together until everything is evenly combined.
- Separate the turkey mixture into 4 equal amounts, then form each one into a patty about 1/2-inch thick.
- Warm the olive oil in a 12-inch non-stick skillet set over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Add the turkey patties and cook until the undersides are deeply browned, about 4 – 5 minutes. Turn them over and cook the second side until the burgers are done all the way through, about 4 – 5 minutes more. The middle of each patty should reach 165 degrees on an instant read thermometer.
- Serve the burgers warm on hamburger buns or tucked into lettuce leaves, with whatever toppings you like.
