Ultra-Easy Double-Dill Diet Friendly Tartar Sauce
A tangy yogurt-mayo tartar sauce with dill, capers, and pickle relish that adds creamy brightness to fish, sandwiches, or vegetables.
Prep 5 min · Total 3 hr 5 min · Makes about 1 1/3 cups

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup plain Greek Yogurt or use sour cream if you prefer
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed, dried dill
- 2 T capers, drained and finely chopped
- 3 T dill pickle relish without sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Beau Monde Seasoning or Bon Appetit, optional
Directions
- You can make this in a mixing bowl with a whisk, or in the bowl attachment for an immersion blender if that is easier. If you go the blender route, use a light hand so the sauce does not turn too smooth.
- Measure the Greek yogurt and mayo, then whisk them together or blend just until combined.
- Add the dried dill weed, finely chopped capers, dill pickle relish or chopped pickles, and the Beau Monde Seasoning or Bon Appetit if you are using it.
- Whisk or blend again only until everything is evenly mixed. The finished sauce should still have some texture.
- Chill the sauce in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving so the flavors can settle in.
- Store it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for a few weeks.
