Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup gochujang, Korean chili paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish, optional
Directions
- Set your oven to 400 degrees F, or 200 degrees C.
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, then put it aside.
- In a small bowl, stir the ginger, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey and gochujang together until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Add the chicken wings to a large bowl, pour the marinade on top, and toss until every wing is coated. If you’d like, leave them for 15 minutes, or refrigerate them as long as overnight.
- Transfer the wings to the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning them over midway through, until they are fully cooked and nicely browned.
- Scatter sesame seeds over the wings, if using, then add salt and pepper to taste before serving.
