Barbecue: Burnt Ends
A while back, my partner in barbecue crime here at SE, James Boo, wrote an amazing piece on burnt ends, and why they're so delicious.

Ingredients
- 2 to 3 pounds of beef brisket, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
Directions
Cut smoked brisket point into 1/2-inch cubes and place in a large disposable tray. Add in 1 cup of barbecue and brisket drippings, if reserved, and toss to thoroughly coat brisket pieces.
