Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Pinch cinnamon
- 1/2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1-2 Tbsp frozen blueberries
Directions
- In a mug that can go in the microwave, combine the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon, stirring until everything is evenly blended.
- Drop in the butter, then use your fingertips to work it through the dry ingredients until the big pieces disappear and the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Pour in the milk and stir it through the buttery flour mixture; it should look like a thick muffin batter. If it seems too dry, add a small splash of milk.
- Scatter the blueberries across the surface, then press them down into the batter.
- Cook on high in the microwave for about 90 seconds.
- Drizzle maple syrup over the top, then enjoy.
