Chicken Sausage Puffs with Creamy Mustard Dipping Sauce
Flaky pastry-wrapped chicken sausage bites bake until golden, with a cool mustard-sour cream sauce for dipping.

Ingredients
- Egg
- Sour cream
- Flour
- Cream
Directions
- Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Set 1 pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface, then roll it out to 1 (8- x 12-inch) rectangle. Slice the pastry into 24 (2-inch) squares. Put 1 sausage slice in the middle of each square and press it gently into place. Do the same with the remaining pastry sheet and sausage.
- Transfer the puffs to baking sheets lined with aluminum foil, then brush the tops with egg. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until the pastry has risen and turned golden.
- While the puffs bake, mix the mustard and sour cream together in a small bowl. Serve the pastries warm with the sauce for dipping.
