Ingredients
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 carrots, grated or julienned
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Directions
- Make the vinaigrette by whisking its ingredients in a bowl, or sealing them in a mason jar and shaking until they come together. Taste, then mix in more sweetener if you want it. Use it right away, or transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
- Add the slaw ingredients to a large salad bowl. Pour the vinaigrette evenly over the top, toss until everything is well mixed, and serve right away.
