Fresh Watermelon Sangria Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon, chilled
  • 1 cup white grape juice, chilled
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice, chilled
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups chilled sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Watermelon wedges and fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Directions

  1. Blend the watermelon until smooth, then pour it through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Press gently on the pulp to get as much juice as possible without forcing through too much foam.
  2. Stir in the white grape juice, orange juice, lime juice, and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add the lime and orange slices, cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour so the citrus can flavor the juice.
  3. Just before serving, stir in the chilled sparkling water. Fill glasses with ice, pour in the sangria mocktail, and garnish with watermelon wedges and mint.
