Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 pears, cored and diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Set a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter, and let it melt until it turns light brown and bubbly. Stir in the cauliflower, hazelnuts, and sage, then cook for 2 minutes, giving the pan a stir now and then. Sprinkle in 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper, and keep cooking, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower has browned and is crisp-tender, 6 to 7 minutes more. Take the skillet off the heat. Add the pear slices and parsley, then toss gently so everything comes together and the pears warm through. Taste and add more salt if you want it. Serve hot or at room temperature.
